ORD in 1 Month time!!!!

As usual, we had our ORD treat again, this time we went to Oscar's buffet at Conrad Hotel. It is an international buffet, $70++ per person. Took a few pictures with my iphone this time.

After the dinner, a few of my friends and I went to a Bar at Princep Street for a drink and listen to live band. Left at around 11+.

Finally IOS4.3 can be jailbroken untethered!

Been waiting for the jailbreak to be release since I bought iphone4. Here is the instruction =)

Requirements:

An iPhone/iPod freshly restored to iOS 4.3.1

Redsn0w 0.9.6 rc12

iTunes 10.2.1

INSTRUCTIONS:

Step1. Download the iOS 4.3.1 Firmware file for your iDevice and restore it using this guide.

Step 2: Download Redsn0w from above given links and Unzip it.

Step 3: Open Redsno0w and Click on Browse.

Step 4: Select the Downloaded iPSW which you restored on the iDevice.

Step 5: it will start identifying iPSW file, after successful identification, Hit Next.

Step 6: Check install Cydia and click on Next.

Step 7: Connect your iDevice with Pc and Powered Off. Once you have done that Hit next.

Step 8: Follow the instructions on the Screen to enter into DFU mode.

Hold down power button for few seconds

While holding power button, hold down Home button for 10 seconds.

Release the Power button but keep holding home button for another 15 seconds.

Step 9: Now sit back and Enjoy, Redsn0w will do rest of process for you.

After jailbreaking your iphone, go to the Cydia app in your iphone.

Go to the "Manage" tab below. Then you will see package, sources and storage. Go to "Sources" on the top right corner you should see Edit, select it and then "Add" on top left.
These are the sources that I have added. These are the few that are so call compulsory for your iphone =)
After adding the sources go to search on the bottom right. Search for "installous". This is the most important app for your jailbroken iphone because you can go into this app to download applications for FREE!(The main reason why you jailbreak your phone). Not every app in apple appstore is available in installous but most of them are =) Have fun and enjoy your "NEW" iphone4 =)

Apart from being able to download free cracked apps after jailbreaking, you can customize your iphone by searching themes in cydia. After downloading themes from cydia you will select the theme from winterboard which will be downloaded together with the theme if you doesn't have it in your phone.

There are many things that you can customize for a jailbroken phone. E.g ringtones,theme,apps etc...
This is my theme for now =) I had customized a bit, the original theme doesnt look like this =)

Secondary school friends meet up

Met up with my secondary school friends on Thursday night. We haven't seen each other for around 5 years until I met one of them at cineleisure and we decided to have a gathering. The guys are all in army and girls working. Went to sakae sushi for dinner and then went to chill at coffee bean. Talked for about 2 hour+. Time flies... I am meeting them for movie on Sat again =)

3 more months to ORD and I am preparing myself for university =) getting books for enrichment and working out my body =P

Braces on!

Finally put on braces on last Wednesday. It sucks to have braces because I couldn't eat anything as the teeth are being pulled therefore I couldn't really bite... I had porridge for the past few days. I have decided to bring in eggs and oatmeal into camp on the next book in and I am going to take weight gainer. 2 half-boiled egg and 2 packets of oatmeal per breakfast =D and weight gainer at night to make up for the insufficient calories. Putting on braces is just like enlisting into army. Have to wait for 2 years.

Went back to camp for duty. My office's building is undergoing upgrade so every weekend we need someone to be in the office to open the door for the contractors to come in for work, so I am the one for this week. Went back at 7 30am and book out at 6pm. Went to Jurong point for the movie "No String Attached" with my cousins. The movie is quite funny and my rating for it would be 4/5 =)

Application for uni were opened, I applied for NTU and UNISIM business course and marketing course. despite having the Diploma in IT, I didn't want to further studies in IT, too mundane sitting by the computer thinking of codes and troubleshooting programs... Had some plans in mind so taking up business course may help =) For the worst case scenario, I'll just take up Marketing in RMIT

Putting on braces this coming wed =c wonder what would be the outcome like o.o

Lastly, 4 more months to ORD!!! still counting down!

Breaking away from the tradition of house visiting, on 初一, I went to my Grandfather house(Father side) in the afternoon for steamboat. At around 4pm, we went on to my Grandma house(Mother side) to meet up with the rest of the relatives for a dinner at Long Beach Restaurant at IMM. After the dinner, they came to my house as it is near. They all left at around 11, my cousins and I decided to go for a movie, hence we went to marina square to watch the movie "大世界" in my opinion, the movie suck and boring lol... Took cab home and reach home at around 4am.

初二, we went to a rented bungalow for 3days 2 nights at Pasir Ris. A picture speaks a thousand words, enjoy...

Everyone praying for good health but i think they are killing themselves instead by releasing so much carbon dioxide into the air as they burn the joss stick and incense paper -_- One day even the god cant save us... =.=

Once again, we are having our quarterly cohesion. This time, we are having our cohesion at Aranda Chalet, we had our BBQ on the second night whereby those ORD personnel came to join us. Firstly, we met up at a restaurant in the afternoon for our lunch

After lunch, we went to watch the movie "Love & Other Drugs" my rating for the movie would be 4/5.

Happy New Year everybody =) Haven't been updating/posting for quite some time.

Just some updates for Christmas and New year. On the Christmas eve, went out with friends to watch Gulliver's travels, it was a nice movie or rather funny one. I would give a rating of 4/5 =D We watched the midnight show which ended at around 1am. Went to the eatery next to Explanade and had a plate of carrot cake and grilled chicken wings =) After that I took the night rider back home 1hr+ trip =.=

On the second last day of the year, went to the Night Safari together with my cousins. It had been ages since I last visited the zoo. We started off with some fire performance followed by the animal performance and lastly the tram ride, couldn't capture much photo due to no flash photography but it was a good experience anyway =)

Yesterday, New year's eve, met up with friends and had a game of Left For Dead(Lan Game) at Paradiz Centre, aftermath we went to Marina Square and meet up with some other friends for the movie "The Ghost must be crazy"(鬼也笑). Quite funny at the beginning, but the second story is a bit boring. My rating would be 3/5. Once again a midnight movie, and the moment we came out of the cinema, it was a OH MY GOD lol... The crowd was damn huge... Walked with one of my friend hoping to catch the night rider but there were road block everywhere, we walked to the bus stop opposite Funan and I thought that the bus would be detoured due to the road block therefore I left without my friend as he was taking the other direction. I continue to walk down but no signs of bus, so I went on hoping to get a cab instead however there were too many people waiting for cab so I continue to walk, I walked for around 1 hour then I finally got a cab somewhere at RedHill =.=

That is about it for my holiday's eve. Got no activities on the festival itself, reached home late on the eve so I had a good sleep on the Holiday =D

2011 will be a year to look forward to, as I will be ORD-ing in 6 months time and there are many things to do after that. But before that, I will have to handle the hectic schedule once the year starts, January and February is completely packed with training =(

The first thing to look forward to is braces, I will be going for consultation on the 12 Jan, hopefully don't have to extract any tooth so I can put on the braces quickly before Chinese New Year =D

Counting Down to O.R.D!

We had our O.R.D treat from our seniors at Red Star Restaurant. It is a dim sum restaurant which has been around fora very long time, was told that during our parent's generation there are alot of weddings being held there. In terms of food, i think the dim sum is not bad, they have the push cart system whereby the waitress will push the cart around with different dim sum therefore you may have to wait for her to come by your area, they have menu for side dishes and dessert as well. We spent around $580 for 16 people... so one person is around $36... I would go there again if there is chance =D

Seeing our senior O.R.D would mean that we can count down to our O.R.D....

Busy September

I am having a hectic schedule ahead for September. Going for AHM(Army Half Marathon) tmr and i am participating in the 21km run.... It is a yearly event for all NS personnel, there are 5km, 10km and 21km category and Safra members can participate in it too... I am second year soldier that why i am participating in the 21km run... Next week, I have a very tight training schedule and i am having training on Saturday too... The week after is another hectic week and i am having my Shooting on Friday, got to try and get a marksman this time round for the sake of the $200....

Despite the tight schedule, I will be a free man from mid October onwards till November :D, at least for now =/ hope that no one will come for training last minute so that i can clear my Offs and Leaves for an oversea trip =D

I am currently on block leave because we were helping out at the NDP Booth at ION Orchard over the weekend so we get compensated with 2 offs therefore I took the 2 offs for wednesday and thursday and took a leave on fri =) We are going to help out at Junction 8 this coming weekend also therefore I will be on off on monday and tuesday =D 7 days not in green woohoo... The event was fun, get to see the ugly side of Singaporeans(Kiasu) lol... I was helping out as a sort of a promoter persuading them to participate in our lucky draw by just writing some wishes for Singapore on the POST-IT and paste on the murale wall... the first prize is 4 NDP tickets and second prize is 4 NDP preview tickets... We were giving out Collar pins and NewWater and some just wanted more by giving excuses saying I have 4 daughters o.O might as well say she wanted to collect for the next generation -_- well, typical Singaporeans... Other then kiasu people we met alot of weird people as well, as we have an hourly lucky draw where by we give out 5 tote bags every hour and people can just wait there for the whole day to see whether they won the prize -_- the irritating part is that he keep asking questions that I have answered him... Lucky I have the patience to entertain him if its someone else i think he would just lose his cool lol.. During the event we play stupid games like Black and White(orh ah bei ah som) loser will have to ask one of the girls at the booth to take a photo with us and well I think i am bad in betting in Army, I always lose... Just like how we draw lots for this coming weekend guard duty over night -.- After the event, we went to Imperial Kitchen for dinner, a treat by our superior, the Beijing roasted duck was nice, we have a good chat there and we went back to tidy up the place followed by booking in to camp =D

Workout regime

Went to Vienna buffet for our cohesion night ... It is a treat from all the new Sergeants and Officers for everyone in our unit(13 people). Each Sergeant is forking out $75(actually $50 but includes our promotion treat so plus $25) and each Officer is forking out $100... 2 new officers and 4 new sergeant which get us a total of $500, therefore we went to vienna buffet which is an international buffet... if i were to rate the service and the food i will give 4/5... The only bad experience i had was that it was too hot which kills my appetite... It was hot because we need a long table for all 13 of us to be seated together and unfortunately they do not have such tables in the air-conditioned area...In terms of food, they have wide variety of food and choices such as sushi, seafood, thai food, finger food, teppanyaki, chocolate fondue, cakes, ice cream and many more...Had a great session and more are coming on the way, ORD treat, Project winning treat etc...

Bad thing about this treat is that we are having IPPT next week and we are eating too much! lol... Excercise, excercise and excercise...

Been doing some workout regime recently at night after working hours to build up better abs. The excercise regime includes 500 crunches 500 flutter kicks and 1000 hand grips excercise

Went to the PC fair 2010 and bought a Fujitsu laptop... There were tonnes of people there but luckily I have compared the price online with the other brands and also know the floor plan of the booth location so I went straight to the booth and CS did some bargaining with the promoter and we manage to get $88 off from the original price... It cost me 2k for this laptop =(

Haven't been blogging since i came back from Taiwan... So what have I been doing... Life is great now as an instructor in school especially me because I am in air con room everyday because my job scope is to operate simulators and evaluate cadets/trainees and the computer system needs air con to cool them down... It's a life that everyone of us wanted since the first time we went there for training, can't believe I am that lucky... No more outfield for me, no more camouflage cream and no more heavy field packs...

I am having acne breakout recently ever since we return from Taiwan, most probably can't adapt to the hot weather after a month in Taiwan...Decided to change a facial cleanser instead of a scrub that I usually use as I think scrub would be damaging to acne skin =/ Bought the cetaphil facial cleanser which I have done some research on and it has good reviews in helping acne...

1) Get a external hard disk to save my files so that I can reformat my Laptop
2) Get a Nintendo DS because I am bored in camp but sick of PSP Games

Finally finished my course!!

After 13weeks of Basic Section Leader Course and 22weeks of Armour Infantry Section Leader Course I am finally an official 3rd sergeant...No more knock it down(punishment in form of push ups)...Punishment we get now is guard duty...It is now our turn to lead the newbies like what we receive for the pass few months... Depending on posting, some of us were posted to 41SAR(Singapore Armour Regimental)...It is an active unit and they will take second year man... Some going to 42SAR taking recruits... As for me i think i am the luckier ones whom got posted to instructor in school...Meaning i will be taking over those instructors going to ORD that taught us before in school to teach the next batch of cadets...

After dinner was free and easy... Our plan was to go 东区 for the first night... Our first time taking the train in taiwan... They have the same scanning system as singapore but instead of standard tickets that we use, they use chip form... scan the chip to get through and drop the chip into the system at the destination...

We didn't stay too long at 东区 because they sell mostly female stuff... Their Sogo departmental store is like our Metro/Robinson in singapore... Therefore we head down to 西门町...

3rd Day R&R

Last day in Taiwan... Free and easy till 3.30pm and we were told that the shops do not open so early therefore we decided to head down to Taipei 101
We were there at around 10 and the shops were all closed... but we took a walk in there,the shops are all selling high end products similar to Ion orchard...

We didn't go up to the observatory tower because we think that there is nothing to see in the morning and the mist outside was thick therefore we decided to head down to 五分铺... Took a bus to the MRT station

To our disappointment, it is like a ghost town at 五分铺...non of the shops were opened and we asked around and realised that it only open at 1pm...So we went around to look for some food for lunch... We walked for around 30min and couldn't find a single food store -_-"
After a long walk we finally settle down...

My last meal in Taiwan... Damn expensive meal at Tao yuan international airport...It is a seafood noodle set, with sour plum soup, tofu, salted vegetable,noodles with a prawn, some green vege and 2 balls don't know made of what...cost 180NT for the meal... As the sour plum soup really sucks so i got a cup of 珍珠奶茶 and guess what,that small cup cost me 90NT so the whole meal cost around 13SGD and I ate only half the meal cause it really don't taste good -_-

Overall experience in Taiwan, it is a great place, we went during the spring season so the weather was great, food there was great too, we get to taste many food that we don't get to eat in singapore... People there are kind especially when they know we are singaporeans... Girls there are pretty and guys are good looking as well... There are many things that we didn't get to experience in the 3 short days so I would definitely want to go again :)

Went for a 3 days 2 nights field camp immediately after Chinese New Year and subsequently after the weekend we had another 2 days 1 night field camp followed by the CAT(Combined Arms Term)- Basically it is a 8 days program back in Pasir Leba Camp whereby all the different units will come together to get their Sergeant Rank and also for all the different units to share what they learn and what they do...

Today is the 3rd day in Pasir Leba... I have never felt so relax before ever since being posted to Armour... Basically all we do is to learn about leadership and how to take/teach/control men in unit after getting sergeant rank... For us Armour, our course is 22 weeks therefore while others get posted to their individual unit to take men under them, we have to go back to our training institute to continue with our course(8 weeks left)...

The sad thing is after getting our rank on the next Friday, the following monday is a 5 days 4 nights field camp then 1 week of preparation for Taiwan trip and off we go on the following Monday... Will be back on the 17th April, one week of wrap up, by then we officially Pass Out from this damn long course...

Having the sergeant rank means more responsibility for us and having it together with our training means superior have higher standards for us... I can foresee punishments coming lol... So envious of other units such that they get posted to take men after these 8 days while we still have to train -_-

After half year of serving NS i finally got a gold for IPPT test(Individual Physical Proficiency Test)... I have been getting silver since i enlisted due to the 2.4km run because the gold standard for 2.4km run is <9.44min... Its crazy lol... My lungs felt like exploding after the run -_-

Booked out today and have to attend a Chinese New Year run conducted by my camp - ATI(Armour Training Institute) at Jurong central Park in the morning... A 3.5km run :D Plan for tomorrow is to go get my new year clothes lol...

Have to really enjoy these 5 days of Chinese New Year because when we return to camp on Tuesday night it all shagness... Its all field camp all the way till Taiwan trip... No bathing, lack of sleep and getting scolded frequently... Shag is the word to describe...

Tough training starts =(

Moving on to the next phase of our training after learning all the basics things such as weapon system and vehicle we are going to train on the Armour tactics = "xiong" training... we need to dismount from the vehicle and chiong towards the objective... other then that, instructors also have higher expectations of us during this phase so confirm get "F" frequently...3 more weeks and we will be getting our 3rd sergeant rank with $890 allowance :D

5 more weeks of tough training and we will be flying off to Taiwan for our oversea training... looking forward to the R&R(Relax and Recreation) there... 3 weeks of training there and 3 days of R&R =) fortunately, the period we going is the changing of season which will be cold =)

Will be leaving Singapore on the 23rd march(2 more days till 21st -_-) and will be back on the 17th April... 1 week after that is our POP =D

Went for live firing the last Saturday and Sunday and experienced the firepower of Armour weapons... Powerful =O

Went to bugis and got myself 2 polo tees... I need more polo tees for booking in to camp :D

Bad skin condition nowadays due to exposure to dirt and dust in camp during training...Need to do something to it before it gets worst =(

My cleaning kit :)
2 moisturizer, 2 cleanser and a acne cream
1) Loreal hydra energetic moisturizer - used when skin is dry and at night before slp as it contains vitamin C and skin can absorb vitamins easier at night when slping

2)Loreal Pure and matte anti-greasing moisturizer - used in the morning after cleansing, effective in controlling the oil produced by the skin

3)Cleanz Plus antibacterial cleanser - used twice a day(wake up and before slp)to treat and prevent infections caused by acne

4)Mens Biore double scrub - used to cleanse skin after training when skin is exposed to too much dust and dirt, if acne is under control then use it twice a day(day and night) gives the skin a fresh and cooling feeling without over drying the skin

5)Oxy 10 acne cream - used twice a day in the morning and night. It contains the ingredient benzoyl peroxide which helps to dry up pimple/acne and kills acne bacterial there is 5% and 10% if 10% is over drying then use 5%

Skin cannot be cleansed too much minimum twice a day each time 1 minute and maximum 3 times if required :)

After 2 weeks of short weeks in camp, feels that this week is damn long... So what am i learning in camp now? After learning all the weapons, we have started our driving package... we have to learn how to drive a AFV(Armour fighting vehicle)... Its fun but at the same time difficult to handle especially when u can only see through 3 small periscope and u need a vehicle commander to guide u the way...Its a 25 tonnes vehicle...

Booked out late last night =( Due to the stand by area(superior will check our area to make sure its clean which includes the stairs,corridor,toilet and bunks) Currently watching 仙剑奇侠转3 by Hu ge and there is this girl in the show who is both cute and pretty :D

Event for the day... Booked out at around 2+ then went to subway to get a bite with my friends and went home after that... Met up with polymates for dinner at Yuki Yaki at marina square...

Not much variety of bbq stuff and its oily... Been there twice and don't really like it but my friends suggested that so good guy like me just agreed lol

I gonna get the O.D.M watch soon.. CS bought it for $132 already... its dirt cheap compare to other places he got a black one and i am getting a white one :)

Went to my BMT platoon mate's 21st birthday party at Changi... Met up with other BMT mates and had a long sharing session of how is our individual life in different unit.. Other then officer course I think my course is the most xiong one compare to others who get to slack a lot... After the cake cutting, took some photos and the celebration ends around 11... We went for a supper together at "飞飞小吃".. a stall that sells wanton mee at eunos... Sat down and reminisce about our BMT life which was very fun as compared to now... We did stupid things together at times, play prank on each other... How we wish we can return to our BMT life again =( Home sweet home at around 1am+

I realised that my 21st birthday falls on my oversea training phase at Taiwan lol I will be doing mission and shooting cannons to celebrate my birthday haha... Memorable 21st birthday lol...

Went to town and got myself a Fred Perry polo tee and an Armani belt from cine and ion...Later in the evening, I met up with CS... Initially we wanted to watch the movie ninja assassin at cineleisure at 7 30pm but he couldn't find his keys when i reached the bus stop at his house so I have to alight and wait for him. End up we were late for the movie and so we couldn't catch it. Therefore we went to 313@somerset(The new shopping mall next to Orchard Central). We went to Zara and uniqlo..Because of opening sales it was packed with people and we have to queue to enter uniqlo lol...After that we went to orchard central for our dinner. Had our dinner at "阿一天下" it is a restaurant that is specialize in abalone. It is located at #05-34, all their main dish comes with a abalone. They were having this promotion that we order one main course and we can pay $5 more for the second serving, one main course is around $16 so we got the second serving adding up to $21, after GST it cost $26 so each of us paid $13. Quite worth it because it taste nice and the serving amount was adequate. After dinner we went to PS to see if there is any movie to watch unfortunately the seating are too near to the screen, we went on to cathay house but no movie to watch either so before heading home we went to "Mad Dog" at paradiz center and we are damn suay cuz we wanted to order pizza and they don't have any left -_- We went on to eat taohuey at rocher and then home sweet home :)

Next thing I want to buy is this O.D.M watch...It is damn nice and damn expensive also...Saw a guy wearing it just now looks damn cool :)

Booked out from camp taking a shuttle bus back to chua chu kang MRT station for $1.50...Initially my friends and I tried to call for a cab but it was the peak hour and we couldn't get any.. luckily as we walked out we saw the shuttle bus waiting for book out personnel so we went up but having to stand.. But we rather stand then to take bus outside which is as far as 1km away from the gate...

Was totally shagged out today... we woke up at 4 45 in the morning for breakfast then draw rifles and prepare for SOC at 6 30..

SOC is the greatest nightmare for us.. soc(Standard Obstacle Course).. basically we have to run 700m from start line to the obstacle ground subsequently clearing 11 obstacles then run for 600m to the end point with our rifle,helmet,LBV..

We did it FOUR times! omg it is damn crazy and shag...After that we still have to attend gunnery lessons...

Went out on Saturday with CS to collect his standard chartered race pack at esplanade, went to topman and zara at MS to look for shoe, saw one shoe at zara that caught my eye but i thought we will be going to orchard so I did not buy...Had our dinner at carl's junior because of CS craving for the cheese fries... Went on to Cineleisure>Orchard central>Wisma>Ion Orchard

Initially I wanted to buy a shoe which i saw on the web at Fred Perry but they do not have the design i wanted =/ so disappointed.. And the shop next to it "Rock star" sells converse design shoes which i don't like either lol.. Not wanting to go back empty handed so we went on to Ion Orchard's zara to get the pair that I like but unfortunately they don't have my size -__- so too bad, can only suck thumb... Went back to Cineleisure to watch the movie "Raging Phoenix".. In my opinion, the movie isn't that great in terms of the plot but full of fighting stunts..

Today is the book in day, never felt so demoralized before for book in day, Armour really sucks... The location of the camp is demoralizing enough let alone the training programs..

21 weeks to go.. And I can sense confinement(punishment to stay in camp,cannot book out) coming..

Got posted back to Armour infantry again due to a stupid phycho moto test... I didnt do it well as i thought i could be posted elsewhere instead of Amour unit if i dun do well but end up still in Armour unit...Reason i dun wan to be in armour is because the course takes up to 22 weeks... It's the longest course in Army.. The only good thing is that we will get our sergent rank together with other units as they pass out from their course while we will continue ours after getting the rank.. almost $300 difference in allowance lol..

Get to book out today..Thanks to the public holiday :) we get a long weekend.. After that is hell -___- I think i am damn suay, keep getting posted to "Xiong" Company since BMT.. While others are facing the ceiling on their bed, we are facing the ground doing push ups...Suay to the max...Even though there is only 2 company in the unit i get the xiong one "F" up.. 1.5 years more to end all these shits.. Whatever it is, we still have to serve so we can only suck thumb and do...

Passed out from BSLC(Basic Section Leader Course) from SISPEC(School of specialist)..Got posted to Armour as Tank leader for my ASLC(Advance Section Leader Course).. Initially I was posted to Armour as Armour Infantry but there were errors in the posting so we got our latest posting this afternoon.. Difference between them is that Tank leader sits in the tank and lead the men while armour infantry walk/run with the tank eating dust behind lol... After completing the course I will get my Sergent rank :)

This week passed so quickly, its like going to a chalet for 4 days 3 nights, we go for swim/run in the morning then go back to bunk, slack and wait for lunch then nights out:) Yesterday night was the last night there, therefore 2 of my friends and I came up with some pranks to disturb others while they sleep... We masked ourself with our t-shirt like ninjas :P We sneak into the bunk next door with shampoos and squeeze it on them :D Next, one of my friend put on his white bed sheet to act as "ghost" to scare them.. he stood by the side of the bed while the other friend knock onto the bed frame to wake the person up lol... It was damn funny to see their reaction when they saw my friend in white :D we went on to other bunk to switch on their lights and ran off then after awhile my friend in white stood at the window to scare them... We cant control ourselves but burst into laughter when we return to our bunk... A fun experience before leaving the place..

Everything is back to 0..Have to start a new journey, learning new things,new environment,new friends and new superior...Hope it won't be that bad for the fact that the school is at lim chukang and only accessible by one bus :/ Damn ulu -_-

Updates for the past few days..

Sold my HTC diamond phone to a shop for $200 after checking the market price..The price have been falling as HTC diamond 2 is out quite sometime ago.. Therefore I shall not wait anymore since I wont be using the phone for the next 1 and half year.. After selling I went to Sim Lim to look for E51..After searching for about 45min to 1hour still couldn't find therefore proceed on to toapayoh central..Went around for at least 10 shops and finally found a second hand one.. The condition of the phone is as good as new..Though it is the camera version, i got the guy to remove the camera for free and i get to keep the camera so, in future i can still fixed the camera back :) Got the phone for $190.. So its like a one to one exchange of phone :)

As for Sunday, meet my friend for the movie 2012 at cineleisure.. before that we went to marina square to get a neck strap for my phone which I saw quite sometime ago..Proceed to cineleisure to get the tickets but the seats were full and I have to book in, therefore we change to "My Girlfriend is an agent".. didn't regret changing cause it was a nice show..Hilarious and the Koreans are hot :) After the movie, we went around to Heren>Taka>Wisma and Ngee Ann city.. got myself a Tee shirt from Topman :)

Back home for dinner and prepare to book in :D Slack week ahead cause we have pass out from the course and the week is for us to clear leave and the sad thing was i have only one day leave left due to some miscommunication during BMT(Basic Military Training) So I will be taking the leave on friday therefore I have to return to camp from monday to thursday..

We have nights out everyday for this week, came home tonight but tuesday and wednesday will be going elsewhere :) waked up at 6am in the morning for breakfast and then we played frisbie game till 9am.. Nothing to do after that so we slacked all the way.. basically this whole week will be activity in the morning till 9 and slack.. We will be swimming on tuesday and thursday and a 4km run on wednesday.. Finally can suntan abit :D been wanting to tan but the weather don't allow :(

Went to Chevron for our happy hour.. Had buffet there and some games.. The game started with some lucky draw winners and they have to do pole dance with their buddy(one as pole the other dance).. The best dancer with get the best prize, we had 2 watches and 3 mp4(1gb,2gb and 4gb).. We get one tiger beer coupon to exchange for free beer and one souvenir(sewing kit)

Everything end at around 8 20pm..

Activities for Saturday.. Went to expo for Robinson's sales with CS, only thing worth looking at is the Pedro shoes but i don't like the designs while CS got himself a pair.. Shopped for around 45 mins and went for dinner at BK.. Aftermath, I went on to meet my poly mates at tampines mall for the movie "Poker King" cast by Louis Koo.. It was funny and quite interesting plot.. worth watching =)

The movie ended at around 11 25pm, couldn't catch the last train so we went for supper at a coffee shop recommended by my friends staying in that area.. I had lemon barley drink and 2 prata(1 plain, 1 egg).. Talk cock for a while after eating and left at around 1am+.. Shared cab with 2 other friends, one staying at Kallang the other at Bukit Panjang.. Reached home at 2am..Washed up and sleep :)

2nd Nights out

Returned from field camp :D and we have cleared all our high key events..We are now left with the last 28km route march then pass out from BSLC :D Hope that these few days till our POP day will be quite slack.. Nowhere to go for nights out.. so shared cab with friends and came home...Did facial..Having bad skin condition now due to field camps...The dirt and camouflage cream and not being able to wash up for days =( Hope it will get better =/... Went to get KFC for dinner..missed it's cheese fries lol.. Going to watch television for a while and prepare to book in again :)

Going to have my dinner soon and prepare to book in =(...Going outfield again tmr =/ 2 days 1 night.. somewhere near cemetery lol.. have to carry heavy field pack again and put on thick camouflage cream =( The good thing is that this is the last outfield training i have for this course =).. 2 more weeks to pass out from the course and get my corporal rank =) soon i will get my 3 stripes after i complete the next course =P

Activity for the day...Went out with 2 of my poly mates to bugis to get some shirt cuz one of them is going to DXO for some party..Went around bugis street then illuma and bugis junction..finally he got his desired shirt from a shop in illuma "uneven" and i got myself a belt too. Aftermath, we went to Wang Jiao cafe for some light refreshment. I ordered a french toast and a cup of hot yuan yang. The french toast was nice compared to the one in Hong Kong cafe, the price is cheaper too. However the hot yuan yuang is tasteless even after adding 2 packets of sugar, learnt my lesson not to order hot one and stick to the regular cold yuan yang instead lol... Home sweet home after eating =)

First book out night burned in my army life

Booked out this morning 8 30am after taking my theory test. Last night was our book out, however i failed my SCK theory test(combat knowledge test) therefore i have to retake it this morning. Considering the fact that many of my bunkmates have to stay back for collective training this morning because they did not attain silver or gold for IPPT so i decided to stay in with them instead of booking out last night and book in this morning to take the test. It is my first time staying back on a book out day but it was a fun experience as we own the whole place. We ordered canadian pizza, one hawaiian and one singapore special(Not very nice) and before that i went to canteen and have a bowl of instant noodle..lol.. i ate alot last night.. But as we eat, we do excercise too...lol..we played daidee and the loser has to do push up equivalent to the number of cards he have in hand(<=5 one card one push up, >5 one card 2 push ups, >=10 one card 3 push ups, 13 cards = 65 push ups...) good way to train and play at the same time. I did not do any for the night, haha.. lucky hand however i have accumulated 140 push ups which i havent do yet.. reason for the 140 push ups is because of the last game that we had on the previous 2 nights.. our last game is a bonus round, loser has to do number of cards on hand multiply by 10.. both night i lost the game with 7 cards on hand = (.. After playing till around 11, they start doing card magic and some are quite impressive.. lol.. Aftermath, we start to chat with one of my friend whom get to know a girl at pastamania during nights out(impressive huh, first nights out get to know one girl). He was smsing the girl and asking us how to tackle her.. It was funny as we came out with alot of funny ideas for him.. just wish him luck on getting that girl =)

First nights out in my army life

Today we are having our first nights out =D..Btw nights out refer to army personnel being able to book out in the evening and book in on the same night.. Since its our first nights out most of my bunk mates went to meet their girlfriend or go home for dinner... so likewise, i did the same.. luckily its only a 10 min trip from camp to home(By car)...now i am going to enjoy myself as much as possible and prepare to book in again...Having IPPT(Individual Physical Proficiency Test) tomorrow morning =(

Book out on a Saturday again due to stupid NE(National Education) presentation. At the same time feeling tired as we just returned from field training on Friday afternoon. Can't reveal much of what we have done before i get charged..lol.. Basically it just shag us to the max.. Book in timing 9 30 =( reason they gave for us to book in at 9 30 instead of usual 10 30 is that we need 7 hours of sleep before Monday's activity which we don't usually have =.=

Today's activity after book out was to meet up with poly friends. Caught the movie "The Hurt Locker".. not a bad show after all and it is a 132min movie.. quite long... After the movie, we went to carl's junior for our dinner at around 9 30pm...Hungry.. my babarian friend leonard and i finished the garlic breads in 1 min after they serve us and he wanted to take more lol... 3 other friends ordered the snacks and coffee beverage because of the 50% discount after 9pm..cheap =) leonard and i shared the porky promotion consisting of pork chop and sweet sauce pork rib (buy pork chop = cheaper pork rib + free spicy chips).. got a cup of mocha so i can stay up late tonight, every night at home is precious to a nsf... While eating, we talk about our individual experience of our army life end up realising that leonard is damn slack and mine is damn xiong compared to one navy and one recruit lol...just hoping that i won't get posted into infantry or guards unit after my bslc... After the talk cock session then home sweet home..

End up spending around 30+ bucks for the night... big hole in our pocket... all nsf =(
